SD's Tea Lemon Mint Flavour is a traditional herbal tea made with senna leaf for adults. It helps relieve occasional constipation, stimulates regular bowel movements and promotes healthy digestion. It is recommended for short-term use only.

DIRECTIONS
Adults: take one tea bag once daily. Preferably after dinner, pour 1-2 cups of boiling water over one (1) tea bag into a container and cover. Steep for 2 minutes. Produces action in 6-12 hours.

Do not use any type of laxative for more than one (1) week, unless your physician has ordered a special schedule for you. Extended or overuse may cause dependence for bowel function. A laxative should not be taken within two hours of another medication because the desired effect of the other medicine may be reduced. Do not use this product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have a kidney disorder, faecal impaction or symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting or fever or if you are taking cardiac medications. Do not use this product if you have abnormal constrictions of the gastrointestinal tract, potential or existing intestinal blockage, atonic bowel, appendicitis, inflammatory colon disease such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis, abdominal pain of unknown origin, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, severe dehydration with depleted water or electrolytes or diarrhoea. Stop use if hypersensitivity/allergy occurs. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking cardiac medications such as cardiac glycosides or antiarrhythmic medications, thiazide diuretics, corticosteroids, licorice root or other medications or health products which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance.
