There is a wealth of literature that demonstrates the advantages of being breast-fed rather than using infant formulas. Mammalian first milk is rich in vitamins, minerals, and immune-boosting factors, along with the introduction of immune-building bacteria. This milk establishes a host of bacteria that inoculates the gastrointestinal tract to be able to ward off pathogens. This first milk a mammal produces in the first 24-48 h after giving birth is especially rich in proteins, vitamins, sodium chloride, probiotics, immunoglobulins (Ig), and growth factors. New Roots Herbal’s Colostrum is a standardized 30% Ig concentration from 100% pasture-fed cows, which are pesticide-, herbicide-, hormone-, and antibiotic-free. Our colostrum is low-heat processed to retain its potency, and it is ethically collected only after calves have had their requirements.

HOW TO USE - Adults: Take 2 capsules twice daily with 8 oz. (250 ml) of water on an empty stomach. If you are taking antibiotics, take this product at least 2–3 hours before or after them.

DURATION OF USE : Consult a health-care practitioner for use beyond 8 weeks.

CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS:  Discontinue use and consult a health-care practitioner if symptoms of digestive upset occur, worsen, or persist beyond 3 days. Consult a health-care practitioner prior to use if you are sensitive to dairy products; if you are taking other drugs or herbal supplements; if you are pregnant or breast-feeding; if you have or are predisposed to cancer; if you have diabetes; if you suffer from an immune disorder (e.g. Crohn’s disease, myasthenia gravis, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, HIV/AIDS, etc.) or asthma, are taking immunosuppressants or have severe allergies; if you have a liver or kidney disease; or if you have been instructed to follow a low-protein diet.. Discontinue use if you develop nausea or vomiting. This product has come into contact with milk and soy. Do not use this product if you have a milk or soy allergy. Not suitable for a person with an allergy to cow’s milk.

CONTRAINDICATIONS : Do not use if you are experiencing nausea, fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhea, or severe abdominal pain. Do not use if you have an immune-compromised condition.
