This essential oil has an intoxicating scent. The greatest perfumers in the world—Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Hermes, Fabergé, etc.—have formulated fragrances based on geranium. Precious few drops of pure geranium essential oil (EO) will be enough to lock down your signature scent.

New Roots Herbal has chosen an EO from Egyptian rose geranium flowers. The main active components of the EO are citronellol and geraniol, two monoterpenols, as well as esters and sesquiterpenes. This synergy gives geranium some very interesting properties in natural medicine, which include helping to relieve cold and cough.

HOW TO USE - Adults: Mix with vegetable oil for topical application. Use undiluted for direct or steam inhalation. Not for oral use. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes; if this happens, rinse thoroughly with vegetable oil. For occasional use only.

CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS :  Seek urgent medical attention or contact a Poison Control Center in case of accidental ingestion. Consult a health‑care practitioner prior to use in case of epilepsy or asthma, or if symptoms persist or worsen. Avoid exposure of treated areas to the sun.

CONTRAINDICATIONS : Do not use if you are pregnant or breast‑feeding; or if you have broken, irritated, or sensitive skin.

KNOWN ADVERSE REACTIONS : Discontinue use in case of nausea, dizziness, headache, or allergic reaction.

 * Do not use if seal is broken. Keep out of reach of children. Store at room temperature.
