Product Details

A.I. Formula® is a broad-spectrum combination of vitamin C, quercetin and bromelain, plus concentrated extracts of turmeric and ginger. A.I. Formula® offers support for the immune system and antioxidants to maintain good health. In preclinical studies, vitamin C has been reported to inhibit the release and degranulation of histamine, and mediate the synthesis of prostaglandins that control histamine sensitivity. Vitamin C also enhances healthy immune cell proliferation, activation and function, as well as interferon levels, antibody responses and secretion of thymic hormones. Like quercetin, vitamin C provides antioxidants to maintain good health. Vitamin C serves a particularly important function by providing antioxidant support to phagocytes, lymphocytes and neutrophils, as it protects these cells against free radical-induced damage that can occur during immune responses.

HOW TO USE

Recommended Use: Provides antioxidants for the maintenance of good health. Helps to maintain immune function.
Recommended Dose: Adults. Take 2 capsules twice daily, in divided doses, with food or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. For use beyond 12 weeks, consult a healthcare practitioner.

INGREDIENTS

Medicinal Ingredients (per capsule): Quercetin (from Dimorphandra mollis seed pod) 175 mg, Turmeric (Curcuma longa) extract (root) 150 mg (Standardized to contain 95% curcuminoids), Stem bromelain (Ananas comosus var. comosus; 7200000 FCC PU) 200 mg, Ginger (Zingiber officinale) extract (rhizome) 100 mg (Standardized to contain 5% gingerols), Vitamin C (Ascorbyl palmitate) 6 mg.
Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Hydroxy propyl methylcellulose, Purified water

CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS

Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you have a history of gallstones, bile duct obstruction, stomach ulcers or excess stomach acid, a blood coagulation disorder, gastrointestinal lesions/ulcers, are taking anticoagulant /blood thinning agents, anti-inflammatories, antibiotics, sedative drugs or before having surgery. Consult a healthcare practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Hypersensitivity/allergy, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhoea have been known to occur, in which case discontinue use
