It is uncertain what exactly causes premenstrual syndrome, but several factors may contribute to the condition—cyclic changes in hormones, chemical changes in the brain. However, what is well-known is that many women experience many unpleasant symptoms before, during and/or after their menstrual period, and during menopause with both emotional and physical symptoms.

Fem Calm’s compound of vitamins, adaptogenic herbs and other nutrients help relieve some of the mental and emotional changes as well as mild physical symptoms experienced prior to and during the menstrual cycle and in menopause. These symptoms include irritability, moodiness, fatigue, insomnia, bloating and hot flashes. Fem Calm helps to provide an emotional and mental calming effect while helping to balance hormones and regulate the menstrual cycle.

Adult Dosage

Take two capsules once daily with or without food, or as directed by a qualified health care practitioner. Use for a minimum of three months to see beneficial effects for menstrual cycle irregularities.

Cautions

• This product contains corn, do not use if you have such allergies. Consumption with alcohol, drugs or natural health products with sedative properties is not recommended. May cause irritability and insomnia, in which case discontinue use. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen.
• Do not use if you have bipolar spectrum disorder or immediately before bed. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking hormone containing medication such as progesterone preparations, oral contraceptives or hormone replacement therapy (HRT), antidepressant medication, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Stop use of Vitamin B6 products and ask a healthcare practitioner if you develop symptoms of sensory nerve problems, such as numbness, tingling, or pain in the extremities.*

*Please note that your label may not contain the vitamin B6 caution, as this is a recent update issued from Health Canada. We are in the process of updating all product labels containing 10 mg or more/day of vitamin B6 to reflect this.
