Horsetail is a perennial plant descended from enormous tree-like plants that thrived over 400 million years ago. The abundance of silica that gives strength to their large hollow stems have been recognized and harnessed for centuries for their medicinal value.

Silica is among the most critical trace elements responsible for healthy bones, skin, hair, nails, and connective tissue. Silica-rich horsetail promotes the synthesis of structural proteins that include keratin and collagen, which lend strength and hardness to skin, hair, and nails. Horsetail also has a history of traditional use as a diuretic and can prove useful for treatment of uric-acid kidney stones.

HOW TO USE - Adults: Take 1 capsule twice daily or as directed by your health-care practitioner.
