Chaga is the mushroom with powerful antioxidants and other interesting phytochemicals including betulin, betulinic acid, phyto-sterols, polysaccharides and beta-glucans. While it grows naturally on living trees in cold Northern climates, Chaga concetrates the natural compounds like betulin(which is uniquely found only in Chaga mushroom) from trees for the protection from harsh environment. Because of this, Chaga is extremely hard to cultivate artificially. For maximum benefit, we use wild harvest Chaga which has grown for at least 5 years. Our Chaga mushroom product is naturally grown and handpicked.
