NOW Real Food® Carob Powder is a flavourful and versatile substitute for chocolate. Use in place of cocoa powder in your favourite recipes for delicious natural chocolate flavour without the fat, caffeine or theobromine found in chocolate.

DIRECTIONS

Carob isn't as rich as chocolate but it's actually sweeter. When cooking with Carob substitute 1.5 to 2 parts Carob Powder for every 1 part cocoa powder called for in a recipe. Due to Carob Powder's sweetness you may need to decrease the amount of sugar used. Quick & Easy Carob Frosting 2 tbsp. butter 1 tsp. liquid vanilla extract 1/4 cup maple syrup 4 tbsp. milk 3/4 cup non-instant milk powder 1/4 cup NOW Real Food® Carob Powder Combine all ingredients and blend until smooth.
