PhytoBalance II is a standardized herbal formula designed to provide multifaceted support for the body during the hormonal changes that occur during menopause and menstruation. This formula contains phytoestrogens, natural substances in plants that bind to estrogen receptor sites and exhibit weak estrogen-like activity. Black cohosh helps maintain healthy levels of luteinizing hormone, allowing for optimal comfort and physical well-being during menopause. Chastetree is used in Herbal Medicine to help relieve symptoms associated with menopause, such as hot flushes. It helps maintain healthy prolactin secretion and may also promote healthy dopamine levels. In addition, black cohosh and chastetree are used in Herbal Medicine to help relieve premenstrual symptoms. HOW TO USE

• Recommended Use: Used in Herbal Medicine to help relieve premenstrual symptoms. Helps relieve symptoms associated with menopause.
• Recommended Dose: Adults: Take 1 capsule daily between meals or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Consult a healthcare practitioner for use beyond 4-6 weeks.

• Medicinal Ingredients (per capsule): Black cohosh (Actaea racemosa) Root and Rhizome Extract 100 mg (10-14:1, 1000-1400 mg dried equivalent), Sage (Salvia officinalis) Leaf Extract 140 mg (8-10:1, 1120-1400 mg dried equivalent), Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) Root Extract 80 mg (standardized to contain 20% glycyrrhizin), Motherwort (Leonurus cardiaca) Herb Extract 80 mg (4:1, 320 mg dried equivalent), Chastetree (Vitex agnus-castus) Fruit Extract 40 mg (7-10:1, 280-400 mg dried equivalent), Grape (Vitis vinifera) Seed Extract 120 mg (standardized to contain 92% polyphenols).
• Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Vegetarian capsule (hypromellose, water), Cellulose, Maltodextrin, Tricalcium phosphate.

CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS 

Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a seizure disorder, hypokalemia, high blood pressure or a kidney or cardiovascular disorder, or if you are taking thiazide diuretics, cardiac glycosides, corticosteroids, stimulant laxatives or other medications which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance. Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you are taking hormone-containing medications such as progesterone preparations, oral contraceptives or hormone replacement therapy, or if you have a liver disorder or develop symptoms of liver trouble.
