Natural Factors Big Friends Chewable Iron 10 mg is a fun and delicious way for children to fulfill their iron requirements. Iron helps form red blood cells and helps in their proper function. When children do not consume enough iron through their diet, supplementation can help prevent iron-deficiency anemia and associated tiredness and fatigue. Children ages three and up will love the chewable sour-peach-flavoured tablets, which are easily absorbed and gentle on the stomach.

Medicinal Ingredients

Each chewable tablet contains:

SunActive® iron (ferric pyrophosphate) .............................................................. 10 mg

Non-medicinal Ingredients

Xylitol, cellulose, maltodextrin, lecithin, citric acid, natural flavours, stearic acid, vegetable grade magnesium stearate (lubricant).

Dosage

Recommended dose: Children and adolescents 3–18 years old: Chew 1 tablet daily with food, a few hours before or after taking other medications or natural health products, or as directed by a health care practitioner. Adolescents 14–18 years: For iron deficiency claims: Chew 2 tablets daily with food, a few hours before or after taking other medications or natural health products, or as directed by a health care practitioner.
