Nac (N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine) 180 Capsules

Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins. N-acetyl cysteine comes from the amino acid L-cysteine. NAC is a precursor to L-glutathione, one of the most important antioxidants required for our well-being. Providing your body with ample NAC helps to ensure it can create enough of this powerful antioxidant.  N-acetyl cysteine comes from the amino acid L-cysteine. Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins. N-Acetylcysteine is similar to L-Cysteine (NAC is an acetylated form) and the glutathione enzyme itself (the direct precursor to glutathione synthesis). Glutathione (GSH) is a peptide consisting of three key amino acids that play several vital roles in the body. It plays a crucial role in immune function and liver detoxification and is involved in protein disulfide bonds, which is essential for the biogenesis of human proteins.

RECOMMENDED DOSE – (ORAL) ADULTS ONLY: Take 1 capsule 2 times per day with a glass of water. Take with meals providing protein.

DURATION OF USE: Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 6 months.

CAUTIONS: Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you are taking any drugs/ herbs/supplements; have a chronic liver disease; are taking nitrates for angina, or have a history of peptic ulcer disease. Discontinue use if you experience nausea, vomiting or diarrhea. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have cystinuria. Avoid using if you are prone to forming renal stones.
