Natural Factors Relief Biotic® is a multi-strain formula featuring 7 billion colony-forming units (CFUs) of probiotics, including the Lactobacillus, Bacillus, and Enterococcus strains shown to help reduce the duration of diarrhea in people with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). This innovative probiotic formula also helps reduce the risk of antibiotic-associated diarrhea and is shelf stable – no refrigeration required!

Non-medicinal Ingredients

Vegetarian capsule (carbohydrate gum [cellulose], water), potato starch, lactose, sweet whey, vegetable grade magnesium stearate (lubricant), ascorbic acid.

Dosage

Recommended adult dose: 1 capsule daily or as directed by a health care practitioner.

Irritable bowel symptoms (adults): 1 capsule daily or as directed by a health care practitioner. Use for 1–4 weeks.

Antibiotic associated diarrhea (children older than 12 years): 1 capsule 3 times daily with food or as directed by a health care practitioner. For use through the duration of antibiotic treatment.

All uses: Take at least 2–3 hours before or after antibiotics.

Caution

Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhea, or severe abdominal pain. Stop use and consult a health care practitioner if symptoms of digestive upset (e.g., diarrhea) occur, worsen, or persist beyond 3 days. Do not use this product if you have an immune-compromised condition (e.g., AIDS, lymphoma, patients undergoing long-term corticosteroid treatment) or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. May contain soy and milk. Keep out of the reach of children.
