Throat Coat Lemon Echinacea 16 Tea Bags

Each tea bag (2.0 g) contains: organic purple coneflower root (Echinacea purpurea) 600 mg, organic licorice root* (Glycyrrhiza glabra) 550 mg, organic marshmallow leaf (Althaea officinalis) 280 mg, organic marshmallow root (Althaea officinalis) 100 mg, organic licorice root extract (5-7:1) 50 mg (Glycyrrhiza uralensis) equivalent to 300 mg of licorice. Non-medicinal ingredients: Organic lemon myrtle leaf (Backhousia citriodora), organic bitter fennel fruit (Foeniculum vulgare), organic sweet orange peel (Citrus sinensis), organic cinnamon bark (Cinnamomum spp.). *Contains 27.5% FairWild® Certified ingredients by dry weight.

Recommended dose: Adults: Drink 2-3 cups daily.

Directions for use: Pour 240 mL freshly boiled water over 1 tea bag and steep, covered, for 10-15 minutes. Gently squeeze the tea bag to release the remaining extract.

Duration of use: Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 4-6 weeks.

Cautions: Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a liver disorder, or if you have a progressive systemic disease such as tuberculosis, leukosis, collagenosis or multiple sclerosis, or are taking immunosuppressants. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen.

Contraindications: Do not use if you have hypokalemia, high blood pressure, or other kidney or cardiovascular disorder. Do not use if you have an allergy to Asteraceae/Compositae (daisy) family. Do not use if you are taking thiazide diuretics, cardiac glycosides, corticosteroids, stimulant laxatives or other medications which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance.

Known adverse reaction: Hypersensitivity (e.g. allergy) has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use.
