Zinc is a co-factor for the antioxidant enzyme superoxide dismutase (SOD) and is in a number of enzymatic reactions involved in carbohydrate and protein metabolism. Due to the flexible nature of administration of our Zinc Ions, one drop can be administered at a time. This flexibility allows for as little as 0.20mg per administration of our liquid Zinc complex. This small amount can be used in the most sensitive cases of administration of Zinc Supplementation.

The amount of Zinc Ions that will be released from a pill or capsule depends on the ability of ones’ gut health, (it’s never 100% it is much less) and the ability to ionize into ions.
It is a known factor that age limits the amount of ionization potential of any known mineral. Another unknown factor is how tightly the minerals are bound together or chemically bonded or bound to a molecule in a pill.

Recommended Dose (adults): Pour 2 x 1/2 droppers (1.8 ml) once daily into 90-150 ml of water or as recommended by a health care practitioner. Take with food. Take a few hours before or after taking other medications. Risk Information: Zinc supplementation can cause a copper deficiency. Do not take iron supplements at the same time as zinc. Iron interferes with zinc absorption.
