Children’s Probiotic 10 Billion 20 g

Children’s Probiotic contains 10 billion colony-forming units consisting of 12 scientifically proven probiotic strains. These select species work at specific sites throughout the entire intestinal tract. This establishes favourable conditions for the dominance of healthy microflora critical for maximum nutrient assimilation and superior immune-system function.

Our ultraconcentrated formula also strengthens resistance to childhood diarrhea. The benefits of our diverse formula include establishing the attachment of probiotics within the mucosal lining of both the small and large intestines to help maintain or rebuild a “friendly” intestinal flora. Children’s Probiotic comes with a convenient scoop for ease of dosage. It can be added to juices or easily incorporated into foods such as yoghurt, smoothies, and apple sauce, without changing taste or texture.

HOW TO USE - Children 1–12 years: Dissolve dose in a small amount of water before administration to children 1–5 years old. For best results, take 2 rounded scoops daily with water or cold, fatty food (such as yogurt or ice cream) or as directed by your health-care practitioner. If you are taking antibiotics, take this product at least 2–3 hours before or after them.

CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS: Consult a health-care practitioner prior to use if you have fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhea, or severe abdominal pain. Discontinue use and consult a health-care practitioner if symptoms of digestive upset (e.g., diarrhea) occur, worsen, or persist beyond 3 days.

CONTRAINDICATIONS : Do not use if you have an immune-compromised condition (e.g., AIDS, lymphoma, patients undergoing long-term corticosteroid treatment).
