Powdered probiotic formula to support healthy intestinal microflora
Probiotic 123 provides 3 billion CFU per scoop of beneficial bacteria [Lactobacillus acidophilus (La-14), Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus (GG), Bifidobacterium bifidum (Bb-06) and Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis (BI-04)] to support gastrointestinal (G.I.) health. Studies indicate the most commonly used probiotics, Lactobacillus and Bifidobacteria, are safe for both adults and children.1 Probiotics promote the presence of beneficial bacteria by competing with pathogens for colonization of the gastrointestinal tract.2 In addition, studies have indicated that probiotics support the mucosal lining of the G.I. tract, helping to maintain healthy intestinal function.2 They control permeability by supporting tight junction integrity, and prevent pathogenic adherence to epithelial cells by increasing mucin release on intestinal surfaces.2

Medicinal Ingredients [per scoop (approximately 0.37 g)]:
Probiotic Blend | 3 billion CFU
Providing:
Lactobacillus acidophilus (La-14) | 1 billion CFU
Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus (GG) | 1 billion CFU
Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis (Bl-04) | 0.5 billion CFU
Bifidobacterium bifidum (Bb-06) | 0.5 billion CFU
Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Hypoallergenic plant cellulose. Ingredients used to maintain viability of probiotics (dipotassium phosphate, monopotassium phosphate, sodium chloride, acacia gum, trehalose, sucrose).
HOW TO USE
Recommended Use: Source of Probiotics. Helps support gastrointestinal health. Could promote a favorable gut flora.
Recommended Dose: Children (1-3 years): Take ½ scoop daily. Children (4 years and older): Take 1 scoop daily or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Dissolve dose in a small amount of water or mix with apple sauce or yogurt before administration to children 1-5 years old. Take at least 2 to 3 hours before or after taking antibiotics.
Risk Information: Do not use this product if you have an immune-compromised condition or are taking tetracycline. Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you have fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhoea or severe abdominal pain. Stop use and consult a healthcare practitioner if symptoms of digestive upset occur, worsen, or persist beyond 3 days.
