Liquid Sleep Solution Sleep Aid with PharmaGABA 500 ml

Recommended Use or Purpose: Improves sleep quality. Helps increase the total sleep time in people suffering from sleep restriction or altered sleep schedule (e.g. shift-work and jet lag). Helps re-set the body’s sleep-wake cycle (aspect of the circadian rhythm). Helps to speed up/reduce the time it takes to fall asleep (sleep onset latency aspect of sleep quality) in people who fall asleep slowly/with delayed sleep phase disorder. Passionflower and Lemon balm are Traditionally used in Herbal Medicine as a sleep aid (during times of mental stress) and to help relieve restlessness and/or nervousness (calmative). Lemon balm is Traditionally used in Herbal Medicine to help relieve digestive disturbances (such as dyspepsia). Helps to temporarily promote relaxation.

Recommended Dose Adults: Take 2 Tablespoons (30mL) with food once a day at or before bedtime or as directed by a health professional. For jet lag, adults take 2 Tablespoons with food at bedtime, while travelling, and at destination until adapted to the new time zone. Consult a health care practitioner/professional for use beyond 4 weeks.

Pharma GABA: Gamma-aminobutyric acid (Laminaria japonica)   –   100 mg

Lemon Balm Leaf Extract 4:1 (Melissa officinalis)   –   120 mg

Passion Flower Herb Extract 4:1 (Passiflora incarnata)   –   120 mg

L-Theanine   –  100 mg

5-HTP: L-5-Hydroxytryptophan (Griffonia simplicifolia)   –   35 mg

Melatonin   –  3 mg

Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Purified water, citric acid, xanthan gum, potassium sorbate, natural lemon flavour, stevia, xylitol.

Cautions & Warnings: Consult a health care practitioner/professional if symptoms persist or worsen. Stop use and consult a health care practitioner/professional if you experience any of the following symptoms within a few hours after taking this product: changes in mental state, i.e. restlessness or confusion, increased heart rate, enlarged pupils, loss of muscle coordination, sweating, shivering and/or gastrointestinal symptoms, i.e. nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. Avoid taking with alcohol or products that cause drowsiness. Consult a health care practitioner/professional prior to use if you are taking medications for seizure, blood pressure, to suppress the immune system (immunosuppressive medications), to affect mental state or increase sedation, steroids or blood thinners. Consult a health care practitioner/professional prior to use if you have cardiovascular, immune, liver or chronic kidney disease, hormonal or seizure disorders, asthma, depression, diabetes, low blood sugar, migraine, or if sleeplessness persists for more than 4 weeks (chronic insomnia). Consult a health care practitioner/professional if sleeplessness persists continuously for more than 4 weeks (chronic insomnia) or prior to use if you are taking carbidopa or drugs/supplements with serotonergic activity. These may include, but are not limited to, L-tryptophan, S-adenosyl-methionine (SAMe), St. John’s wort, antidepressants, pain killers, over the counter cough and cold medication containing dextromethorphan, anti-nausea medication and anti-migraine medication. Stop use and consult a health care practitioner/professional if you show signs of weakness, oral ulcers, abdominal pain accompanied by severe muscle pain or if you experience skin changes.

Contra-Indications: Do not use this product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not drive or use machinery for 5 hours after taking melatonin. Do not use this product if you have scleroderma.
